Events

Throughout the year, the founding members of The Points Consultants attend a variety of travel themed conferences, meetups, and events. Whenever we have advance notice, we will post these events here. Feel free to come out and meet us in person to talk travel, pick up a few tips, or just say hello. At this point, we are all local to the DC area, so there will be more events in the surrounding area, but we do tend to travel quite a bit, so you never know when one of us might be in your town.

May 22-25, 2017 – Traveling Dad Conference – Disney World, Orlando, FL.

Jeffrey and Richard will be attending this conference and although we will be busy with conference events for about half of the time, we will be exploring the Disney parks for the remainder of the week. Let us know if you plan to be in Orlando at the same time and maybe we can meet up for a chat.

June 8, 2017 – Travel Massive – Andrew Evans Book Talk – Kramerbooks & Afterwords Cafe in Washington, DC.

This is the monthly get together for the DC chapter of Travel Massive and as a bonus, the guest speaker is Andrew Evans. Andrew is National Geographic’s original digital nomad and has an amazing repertoire of stories from around the world. Jeff will be attending and will be glad to meet anyone who joins the event.

February 25, 2017 – Hamilton – Chicago, IL.

Thanks to American Express buying out an entire performance of the hit musical, Hamilton, Richard and Jeffrey will have a chance to see the show with their families. Because we both have Platinum Cards, we were able to secure tickets at face value for a show that many people pay hundreds of dollars per ticket to see. If you are lucky enough to be heading to the show, be sure to let us know so we can say hello.
